William New was born on June 19, 1956 in Mobile, AL to parents, Audrey Pearl (Reynolds) and Jerry E. New. William was preceded in death by his oldest son, Joshua who was killed in a tragic automobile accident in 1996 at the age of 16. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Audrey who died May 13, 2011. He is survived by his father, Jerry; sons, Amos and Jonathan; and daughter, Jamie Leighann New. William is also survived by and older brother, Jerry Wayne New, Sr. and younger brother, Ronald K. New.
